Shattered Thorns

I lay on my bed... eyes open....tears streaking down my cheeks...
The sharp thorns surrounding me....hurting me in every single way...pricking me...making the bood ooze out of me...
I cried for help and soon I realize that I've been lying on the dirty vicious thorny bed...covered in blood....
Reaching for someone's hand....a warm touch to take me away...take me away from the dreadful place....Scared to death of me....

Crying...calling out for help... A light shined, the door opened... i saw them, staring at me in horror... But giving me their warm smiles...
making my pain go away....making my coldness go away...
Making me strong and reaching out for my hand grasp to help me out...getting me out of darkness...bringing me to life again...the horrorific illusion evanescenced into void...
The thorns shattered into fragments of little pieces...

And the picture became clearer and clearer...the faces became visible...
My friends...
Giving me a reason to live...gave me a new life...
Forever thankful to them for taking the pain away...for bringing me back to life...

Shattered Thorns laid there..mourning that they didn't succeed in consuming me into darkness...
